It gives us immense pleasure to present 25th issue in December 2018 of Global Journal of Business Management. We owe this edition to the hard work of our academicians and researchers. The present issue touches upon some of the current issues in business management and its related fields. Seven papers covering various functional areas of management have been rigorously selected.
The first paper Startups as Engines of fastest growing Ecosystems in India by N. Santosh Ranganath focuses on the services required for a startup and explains the growth of startup ecosystem in India.
The second paper A Study on Nature and Trends of NPA in India by Jaheer Mukthar analyses the nature and trends in NPA in India. The study focuses on the major problems being faced by banks and financial institutions in India.
The third paper Perception of Tourists Towards Locally Produced Foods in Star Hotels and its Relation to Promotion of Food Tourism in Madurai City by T. Z. Ahamed attempts to understand the tourists perception towards locally produced foods in star hotels and its relation to promotion of food tourism in Madurai city.
The fourth paper Indian Currency Futures: A Financial Derivative Tool to Hedge Forex of Nidhi Khurana highlights the development of currency derivatives in India in relation to the number of contracts traded, and the turnover at National Stock Exchange.
The fifth paper Critical Resistors of Online Shopping: A Survey in Delhi-NCR Region by Ruchi Malik Gorai focuses on psychological, behavioural, demographic cultural, social and product factors which act as a major hindrance for anyone while shopping online.
The sixth paper Public Private Partnerships in Urban Solid Waste Management by Tumpa Dey gives an overview of public-private participation in urban solid waste management in Indian perspectives. This paper also deals with the rationale for PPP and the different kinds of projects under SWM.
