In this edition an emphasis is given on psycho-religious philosophy of positivism of different religious perspectives like Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Baha’ism and other contemporary religious movements in global perspective. Positive philosophy is a system based on positive facts and observable phenomena. Positive facts are not isolated but comprehended by the positive sciences. It is a philosophy drawn from the scientific methods that determines positivist doctrine. Twelve important papers have been included in this edition contributed by noted scholars. Hope this edition will help in development of positive approach among inter-religious communities.
About the Authors
S.M. Triphati, former professor of Psychology, Agra University, Agra (U.P.), is an eminent scholar of Psychology and Philosophy. He has written several books and research papers of international repute on positive Psychology. Presently, he is associated with several research institutes and also as advisor of International Centre for Religious Studies.
Dr. N.K. Singh, a Director of International Centre for Religious Studies, Delhi and Chief Editor of Global Religious Vision—a quarterly Research Journal, has specialized himself in oriental studies and wrote a number of important books on religion and philosophy. His important works are Islam in Western Perspectives; Islam: A Religion of Peace; Islamic Mysticism in India; God in Indian Islamic Theology and Unseen God. He has also edited Encyclopaedia of the Holy Qur’ân in 5 Vols.
