About the Book

Production and Operations Management: Text and Cases blends traditional management concepts on the subject through fifteen chapters in a unique interrogative model. It emphasizes how practicing managers must carry out their production and operations management functions in the process of managing their affairs, inter and intra departmental dealings, relationships among the stakeholders in allied areas. About the Author

H. K. Manji, B.Sc., MBA is working as visiting faculty in reputed management colleges of Bangalore. He has a versatile work experience of more than forty five years spanning both industry and academics. He worked with various Indian PSEs/private industries in various capacities in the field of aggregate planning, scheduling, shop floor planning, materials planning and control and allied fields and has in-depth understanding of various facets/ intricacies of the processes of strategic management. His many papers have been published in reputed research journals. He has participated and presented papers in various national and international conferences and seminars and has authored a number of books on the subjects of management.
