Job satisfaction is one of the most crucial and controversial issues of behavioural management in any organization which plays vital role in imparting quality education. It is dependent on gender, attitude, salary, security, management, experience, qualification, social status, promotion etc. A significant number of teachers are considered to be the result of gender development in education field and their importance has been recognized in the development of education but their level of satisfaction is not given attention. The present study is an attempt to examine, compare and measure the degree of job satisfaction of teacher seven chapters. This book may help to draw the attention of management in improving the condition of teachers. Last but not the least this study has tended more focus on women issues in a new arena.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Ravi, T.S. has obtained his M.A degree in History from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore, (Karnataka), M.Ed. degree from Kuvempu University, Shimmogga (Karnataka) and M.Phil. from Alagappa University, Karaikudi (Tamil Nadu) and Ph.D. in Education degree from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He has worked as Principal in Shri Shiddharoodha College of Education, Dharwad and now presently he is working at Coordinator, KSS P.G. Department of Education and Research Centre, Davangere (Karnataka). He has successfully guided many M.Ed. students for their dissertation work. He has attended number of seminar, workshops, conference and symposium at state, national and international levels. His areas of specialization are educational psychology and educational philosophy.
