The present edition discusses a number of Qur’ânic concepts of human behaviour and experience in support of Hadith in a very appealing style. About the Author
Akbar Husain, is currently Professor of Psychology and Coordinator, UGC-SAP (DRS-I) at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. During his academic career for more than three decades he has undertaken major research projects and written extensively in the areas of stress, spirituality, psychological well-being. He was editor of The Journal of the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology, the official organ of Indian Academy of Applied Psychology from 2002-2005. He has been Editor of Journal of Educational Research, Jilid 31, University of Malaya in 2009. He is also consulting editor for AMITY Journal of Applied Psychology, Indian Journal of Health and Well-being, Journal of Impairment and Disabilities, and Kashmir Journal of Social Sciences. He has participated in International Transpersonal Association meeting at Russia (2010). He has standardized a number of psychological tests and assessment tools. He has authored, co-authored and edited more than 27 books, and 175 academic publications in the form of research papers, journal articles, and book chapters at the national and international level. His fields of specializations are: Spiritual Psychology, Positive Psychology, Health Psychology and Counseling Psychology.
