The present edition is a critical examination of the theory of International Trade and Monetary Economy since the World War I. This edition also focuses on the application of international trade theory, general value theory and monetary theory to a special case in which the micro-economic decision units are grouped into subunits of the macro-economy differentiated from one another in certain problems. Whoever needs to understand the complex situation of political economy and particularly international trade and monetary economy will find this edition to be an invaluable source of knowledge. Finally my hope is that this edition will interest and invite the reader to re-think on this issue.

About the Author

Sunil Chaudhary took his M.A. from Delhi University, Delhi, and Ph.D. in Welfare Policy from Patna University, Patna. Dr. Chaudhary is author of many research papers published in journals of national and international repute. He is an author of Welfare Policy and Social Development. His areas of research is social justice and welfare economy. Presently, he is associated with several newspapers and magazines as a freelance journalist.

M.A. Chaudhary, a noted freelance writer and editor, received his education at Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. He worked for ten years as a journalist and editor in several news papers and journals published from Patna. He also taught Economics for two years in R.S.P. College Patna. Presently, he is doing freelance editing and writing.
