About the Book
Cricket, more than most sports, is full of expressions and terms designed to bewilder the newcomer (and often even the more seasoned follower). Many terms and slang used every day in the sport of cricket seem like a foreign language. So you can familiarise yourself with the language of cricket, we have compiled a compact dictionary of common terms and slang used by both players and spectators alike. This dictionary gives brief description of more than 300 terms used in cricket and 200 brief biographies leading cricketers.
