About the Book
The present book can be viewed as a natural evolution of the process of risk management. The Book defines enterprise risk management as a process, effected by an entity’s board of directors, management and other personnel, applied in strategy setting and across the enterprise, designed to identify potential events that may affect the entity, and manage risk to be within its risk appetite, to provide reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of entity objectives. The purpose of this book is to provide a blend of academic and practical experience on ERM evolving methodology. Furthermore, our goal is to provide a holistic coverage of ERM, and in this process, provide the what, why and how ERM to assist firms with its successful implementation.
About the Author
Amarjeet Singh Pahwa has 24 years working experience in large MNCs of the country, (Union Carbide, Nestle & ITC). He is awarded professional qualifications in Risk management- Identification and Mitigation, Project & Contract Management from Administrative Staff Collage of India, Hyadrabad, Certificate course of Revenue Management – IIM (A), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, IIFT- policies and procedures of imports and exports, Management development program, A course on attitude and approach to the problems, Forex Management, Human resource development – Team work and Motivation, and Leadership Roll & Requirements. His competencies in Establishing Internal Audit Function, SAP Customization & Implementation, Six Sigma – process improvement and cost management, Conduct Internal Audit, Write SOPs including implementation, Provide Corporate training, Identify fund requirements and arranged funding are well-known in Corporate sector.
