About the Book

A teaching model of mathematics discussed in this edition presents powerful cognitive and social tasks to school students and teachers to make them productive use of mathematical creativity. The main purpose of these models is to increase learning capabilities in order to make them powerful learners. About the Author

Dr. G.U. Nagaraj started his carrier as a lecturer in Srisaila College of Education, Harihar, then he taught in Cauvery B.Ed College, Bangalore and now he is working as a lecturer in Department of P.G Studies in Education, Davangere University, Davangere; Karnataka. He is completed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in M.M. College of Education, Davangere, Master of Education (M.Ed) in Department of P.G Studies and Research in Education, B.E.A. College of Education, Kuvempu Universitty, Davangere, M.Sc. (Maths.) in Kuvempu University, Karnataka, and Ph.D in Education from Kuvempu University. He has presented number of paper in national and International seminar, conferences and workshops.
