Description
About the Book
Over the past two decades, a number of psychologists have been, and continue to be concerned with various aspects of spirituality in research on health care (counselling and therapy) and work domains. This book describes the major applications of spirituality in eleven chapters. This book has underpinned practical recommendations for spiritual psychologists, while at the same time considering the curriculum for teaching a course on Spiritual Psychology. The present volume is a result that bridges the theory, research, and application of spirituality. From the wider perspective, the volume transcends spirituality to include the broader behavioural sciences, such as management, sport education, sociology, and social work; and provides full support of a more positive medical practice. The authors are dedicated in the development of Spirituality as a new discipline in study and research.
