JIHP seeks to publish original articles related to Health Psychology: problems, theory, research and applications. Significant theoretical or practical import for an understanding of the issues relating to Health Psychology and integrative papers based on multi-disciplines are particularly welcome. The manuscripts should be in English language, typed on A4 sized paper, double spaced on only one side with wide margin. Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA).
Name and affiliation of the authors should not appear anywhere in the article except the title page and each manuscript must be preceded by an abstract (100-200 words) along with keywords based on the whole article.
Title: The title should be concise and on a separate sheet where abstract is present together with author’s name(s), current position, address, telephone, e-mail etc.
Table and Figures: Table and Figures (Graphs etc.) should be on separate pages with appropriate self explanatory title and intended position in the text.
References: References should be listed in alphabetical order. Each listed reference should be cited in the text, and each text citation should be listed in the references. Basic formats are as follows:

A manuscript should comprise of major component such as Introduction, Method (sample, design, tools, procedure etc.), Results, Discussion and References.
Book Reviews: Journal of Indian Health Psychology publishes reviews of new books or the books which deserves attention of the readers. Authors/Publishers are welcome to send books to the Publishing House for the above purpose.
Short Communications: This section of the Journal presents case studies or short reports of research projects or reports on intervention programmers etc.
Submission of articles shall imply a declaration that the material is original, has not been published elsewhere in part or full and the same has not been submitted for publication in any other book/Journal.

Acceptance rate to our journal 2006 to 2013 is 29%, average processing time (from submission to final editorial decision) was 60 days.
