About the Book
The emerging rural entrepreneurship management tends to cater the rural needs such as income generation, employment generation, rural development, infrastructure up-gradation and restricting rural urban migration. This book is designed to boost rural economy into seven chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept, planning and operation rural enterprise through three sets of enterprise. The second chapters explains the different theories on entrepreneurship; assess the factors responsible for creation of entrepreneurs and hurdles in making of a good entrepreneur. The third chapter describes multiple choices and multi-varied types of entrepreneurship. The concept of market economy of rural entrepreneurship is examined in the fourth chapter. The sixth chapter highlights the importance of human resources and adequate infrastructure in developing, promoting and supporting rural entrepreneurship. International experiences of rural entrepreneurship is discussed in the last chapter of this book.
About the Author
Nina Verma currently manages the academic programs and personnel of the Business Applications and IT Management department in the faculty of ICT of Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria. The department specailises in business analysis, project management, business information systems, knowledge management, ecommerce, business management, and personal and professional development of IT students/ employees, IT management and strategic management. She also lectures in the fourth year subjects on Business Management, Business Fundamentals, Information and Technology Management and Strategic Information Systems.
