Editorial
Global Journal of Business Management (GJBM) is an internationally renowned peer reviewed and refereed journal that provides a platform for researchers/ professionals to publish their high quality research papers in management and its allied disciplines. Research paper submissions to GJBM are screened and peer-reviewed to maintain highest ethical and technical standards. It gives us immense pleasure to present 17th Volume of June 2023 issue of Global Journal of Business Management. We owe this edition to the hard work of our academicians and researchers. The present issue touches upon some of the current issues in business management and its related fields. Six papers of this issue covering various functional areas of management have been rigorously selected.
The first paper of Dr. Ganapathi highlights the need for advancement in the area of
e-banking in Bangalore banks as well as the advantages, possibilities, and current difficulties that the banking industry is now facing. It deals with the utilisation of factors influencing towards customer satisfaction of e-banking services in the Bangalore city. The second paper of Dr. Mayilsamy, Dr. Nithyasri and Dr. Shyamaladevi focuses to identify the factors that influenced the tourist to select their destiny and the problems faced during the pandemic. In the third paper, Dr. Gupta and Pandey have evaluated situation of the post-Covid period of Indian start-ups and examined its overall impact on the start- up ecosystem. The study further tried to comprehend how successful start-ups redesigned themselves in order to remain in business. The fourth paper of Dr. Khatri and Bhardwaj tries to explore the representation of direct tax reforms in India and its performance in pre- and post-liberalization era. The fifth paper of Dr. Mayilsamy confines to identify the sources of inspiration to start and manage the micro-business units and to analyze the impact of micro-credit in developing to micro-enterprises. Further it focuses on the various constraints faced by the micro-credit on entrepreneur’s beneficiaries towards the level of satisfaction. The last paper of Dr. Shome provides an overview of recent trends in the global business environment which affects the practice of HRM, including globalization.
All the papers report a plethora of findings that should be of interest to researchers. We are grateful to all contributors and reviewers for their valuable inputs. We hope that our readers will be benefited from the knowledge so generated. We look forward to the continuous support of our contributors and reviewers, and invite papers, recommendations and discussions for further issues.
