About the Book
Creating right awareness about mental health is very crucial in order to ensure timely recognition, improve prevention and stimulate practical intervention. Internet has become an indispensable part of human lives but also brings with it demerits as well likely affecting the mental health of every individual in one or the other way. During COVID-19 many factors related to network connectivity and technical problem hindered the work culture. These factors increased the stress and decreased the professional commitment. This led to decreased mental health due to many factors including lack of physical activity. The book is an effort to deal with such mental health issues.
About the Editors
Dr. Narinder Singh, Assistant Professor, Post Graduate Govt. College, Sector-11, Chandigarh, is Gold Medalist in M.A. Psychology from Punjabi University, Patiala. He is UGC-NET JRF qualified and has more than 14 years of teaching and research experience. He has received the Excellence Award for research contribution by Euro Asia (2015). He has published 2 books, 30 research papers, and 2 copyright standardized psychological tests. He has been invited as resources person for special lecture by different organisations. He has also contributed many You-tube videos towards psychosocial issues.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar is working as Associate Professor and HoD, Department of Psychology PGGC-11, Chandigarh. He is having more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has presented 64 research papers and published more than 35 research papers in national and international Journals. He has published 6 books and one UGC sponsored and one ICSSR Major Research Project. He is the Founder member of Indian Journal of Psychological Sciences published by National Association of Psychological Science. He is the convenor of many cells in the college and handling major responsibilities.
