This new edition text book is the outcome of the author’s many years of study, teaching and research in the field of compilers, and his constant interaction with students which presents both the theory and design techniques used in Compiler Designing with sufficient examples and diagrams. This edition introduces the compilers, different phases of a compiler and the design challenges of compiler in five chapters. This edition acquaints the students and teachers with the tools available in Compiler Designing. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Kaushal Kishor Rastogi, M.Tech (Computer Science), is pursuing his Ph.D from GBTU, Lucknow. Currently he is working as an assistant professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at HiTech Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad. He has rich teaching and research experience of 9 years. His area of specialization includes design and analysis of algorithms, theory of automata, computer network and compiler design. His many papers have been published in reputed research journals and has participated and presented papers in various national and international conferences and seminars, on the subject of computer science.
