About the Book

The book has been designed as a reference book for the management students and practicing managers. The work has been based on my 30 years experience of training in Industry. The art of managing has been of interest since more than a century and different concepts have been developed over the years. The successful manager has to have an overall view of the organizational processes. The book deals with  concepts techniques and processes helpful in leading people and tereby becoming an effective manager.

About the Author

Prof. P.K. Banerjee, an experienced HR Professional, has worked in senior management positions in Industry. He worked as Sr. VP(HR) with Ispat Industries Ltd., Advisor (HR) with Jaypee group, consultant (HR) with Tata International and Principal of ACC’s Engg. Institute. He has more than 30 yrs experience in Industry including SAIL,AVB,FCI etc.

He has worked in Academic field as Professor and various other positions for more than a decade in SESITS, IET-DAVV, ACROPLIS etc. in Indore. He acted as a Director of GS Institute of Management  & Research, Indore.

Prof. Banerjee was nominated by ministry of HRD in various national bodies as a member of governing council like AICTE New DELHI, NITIE Mumbai, TTTI Bhopal. He was also appointed as chairman advisory committee on worker education. Prof. Banerjee is a distinguished speaker in various management forums and guest faculty in IIMs, IIPM etc.
