About the Book

There is a close relationship between human being and environment. In this edition author wants to highlight about the environment, especially slum environment, place-identity of an individual, urbanization and transportation system. Not only this some psycho-social aspects viz., interaction pattern, values and interpersonal relationship and changing scenario have also been redesigned by the author in this edition. Besides this, author has mentioned some important points about the man-environment relationship.  

About the Book

Dr. Swaha Bhattacharya is serving in the Faculty of the Department of Applied Psychology, University of Kolkata. She awarded Gold Medal and Sir Gurudas Banerjee Book Prize from Calcutta University. She received Fellowship from International Association of Applied Psychology for Advanced Research and Training on Environmental Psychology and awarded Certificate of Achievement in 2004 which was held at Xi’an, China.
