About the Book
Architects of Fate, or, Steps to Success and Power is a book of inspiration to character-building, self-culture, to a full and rich manhood and womanhood, by most invigo-rating examples of noble achievement. The Author’s aim has been largely through concrete illustrations which have pith, point and purpose, to be more suggestive than dogmatic, in a style more practical than elegant, more helpful than ornate, more pertinent than novel.
About the Author
Orison Swett Marden was the founder of the modern success and positive thinking movement. He changed the old notions of success with the new more comprehensive ideas made popular by best-selling. His life was not an easy one; orphaned at the age of seven, he was left to fend for himself and his two sisters. He began reading self-help books, which greatly inspired him to escape from the treacherous world of poverty and become self-reliant. Part of the New Thought Movement, a spiritual set that linked spirituality and personal development, Marden has also authored many articles for the New Thought Movement based magazine, ‘The Nautilus’. He has authored over twenty books, many of them are admired and even read today as timeless classics. His book, ‘Pushing to the Front’, sold many copies and became one of the classics in the genre of self-help literature.
