About the Author
Dr. Archana Kaushik is a faculty in Department of Social Work, University of Delhi. She is teaching this subject for many years and has evaluated efficacy of numerous welfare and development programmes. She has gained good understanding of welfare/development administration both through her academic as well as field experience. Dr. Kaushik has authored many books and contributed research articles in several journals of international and national repute. She has taken up varied research projects on issues like older persons, death, caste in administration, etc.
